I hit what is clearly the plot point that everyone hates, and I... didn't hate it as much as I probably should have. I mean, I will probably hate the execution. But I actually like the idea.

I feel like with this series, one may as well relax and enjoy the utter shounen-ness of it. A few highlights and lowlights:

Very interesting! About the only things I can say without spoilers are that I found the revelations about the underpinnings of the universe to be very... interesting.

As a warm-up to our next BIG project (which will be announced next week) we will be doing a Bleach doujinshi.

It will be Rukia/Renji, rated R, 10-16 pages, price TBA, date of publication TBA. But it will be GREAT!

I adored this bit of the story in the manga, and I loved it in the anime too. Unfortunately, I've now watched right up to the point where the problems I have with the entire Soul Society arc begin to become noticeable. rilina, can I hit you up for more of the anime anyway? I have through # 27.
